AFGHAN President Hamid Karzai has for the first time spoken publicly of negotiating with Taliban leader Mullah Omarand bringing the hardline Islamist group into his embattled administration. “For the sake of peace in Afghanistan, we are ready to negotiate with them,” Mr Karzai said at the weekend. “We have always negotiated with their supporters (who) control them and will do again.” Full Story
