Austria’s two main political parties have agreed to form a new coalition government, the head of Austria’s Social Democrats said Monday. Alfred Gusenbauer, leader of the center-left party and the country’s next chancellor, made the announcement at a joint news conference with Wolfgang Schuessel, the outgoing chancellor and head of the centrist People’s Party.
