Border guards in southern Vietnam have detained 46 foreign fishermen aboard four Thai vessels for allegedly violating the communist country’s territorial waters, an official said Saturday. Colonel Ly Tri Thuc, commander of the border guard station in Ca Mau province, said the fishermen were detained on Thursday. It was not immediately clear if all those involved were Thai nationals. “We will keep them for further investigation before handing the file to officials at a higher level,” he said. Full Story
