An indefinite strike by the main labour unions in Nigeria entered its fourth day Saturday with no immediate hope of an agreement with the government on the contentious issue of petrol prices. “The strike goes on, as the federal government is adamant on reversing to the old price of 65 naira per litre,” a spokesman for the blue-collar Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Owei Lakemfa, told AFP.
