An unknown assailant threw a stick of dynamite on Saturday at a fence on edge of Lebanon’s largest Palestinian camp, damaging two cars parked nearby but injuring no one, Palestinian sources said. They said Lebanese security forces, which do not enter the southern Ain el-Hilweh refugee camp, fanned out in the surrounding area immediately after the blast. The attack was the latest in a string of bombings at Ain el-Hilweh, where tensions have been high since Islamists in the camp clashed with fighters loyal to Palestinian President Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement last August, leaving three people dead.
