U.S.-based defence technology company Allen Control Systems (ACS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Romanian Armed Forces for the local co-production of its Bullfrog counter-drone autonomous weapon systems, the defence company said in a press release last week. No financial or capacity-related information was disclosed. In response to a SeeNews request for comment, ACS said it would not provide additional information. Bullfrog is ACS’ first product, an autonomous AI-powered precision weapon station that enables both legacy and modern weapons to achieve precise engagements against weaponised drones and significantly increases the accuracy of existing battlefield systems, according to the press release.
