Aethero DeploysNext-Generation In-OrbitComputing on EnduroSat FRAME-15

Aethero, a provider of space-grade computing systems, and EnduroSat, a space infrastructure builder, today announced the Titan mission, which will deploy Aethero’s NxA-ECM next-generation compute module aboard EnduroSat’s FRAME-15 ESPA-class satellite and is scheduled to launch in October 2026. Satellites generate more data than current downlink architectures can efficiently handle. Bandwidth constraints force operators—across Earth observation, defense, and communications applications—to downsample, delay, or discard data before it reaches processing pipelines. The result is slower decisions, higher operational cost, and underutilized orbital assets. On-orbit processing eliminates this constraint. By computing data at the source, spacecraft execute real-time autonomous decisions, reduce dependence on ground infrastructure, and deliver higher-value intelligence per orbit pass. Titan is Aethero’s most advanced deployment of this capability to date. The Titan mission demonstrates Aethero’s NxA-ECM compute module in its most capable configuration. Each module, built around NVIDIA’s Jetson Blackwell-based Thor silicon, delivers over 4,000 TFLOPS. Drawing on the platform’s 3.4 kW peak power capacity—Titan scales through Kubernetes clustering to over 16,000 TFLOPS of on-orbit compute: sufficient for real-time inference, autonomous tasking, and distributed data management without ground intervention.
