AimLock, a developer of autonomous targeting and engagement systems, has entered into a partnership with Overland AI to enhance the capabilities of autonomous tactical vehicles used in military operations. Overland AI is engaged in supplying ground autonomy solutions to the defence industry. The collaboration is set to combine AimLock’s systems into Overland AI’s uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV). The objective of this integration is to offer multi-mission solutions that incorporate a human-in-the-loop methodology for military personnel. Overland AI’s UGV, which is intended for modern warfighter, will now incorporate AimLock’s systems, enabling it to engage in contested environments such as GPS-denied zones and areas with jammed communications. Overland AI co-founder and CEO Byron Boots said: “Overland AI is transforming our warfighter’s capability through robotics and artificial intelligence increasing their safety and effectiveness on the battlefield. “We are especially proud to partner with AimLock, whose multi-mission solutions exemplify the versatility of our payload integrations and give the Armed Forces a decisive advantage across every terrain and domain.”
