Apple Unveils First Touchscreen MacBook Pro Featuring Tandem OLED Display

Apple has officially broken a long-standing company tradition by announcing its first-ever touchscreen MacBook Pro models during a late-October product launch. The newly redesigned laptops feature advanced tandem OLED (PROLED XDR) displays with peak brightness up to 2,000 nits, alongside a thinner and significantly lighter chassis. Powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, the devices also bring the pill-shaped Dynamic Island to the Mac lineup for the first time. The addition of touch capability is designed to enhance creative workflows, app development testing, and multimedia navigation while maintaining traditional trackpad and keyboard support.
