Neros Supplies a Thousand FPV Drones to Ukraine Monthly, Wants to Make a Million Yearly

Reports from March 2025 revealed that Neros Technologies, a U.S.-based company, was awarded a contract to supply Archer FPV drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A total of 6,000 drones were to be delivered within six months in the framework of the so-called “drone coalition” established at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, aka “Ramstein format.” According to public data, this agreement is one of the largest within this project. An update from Defense News tells that, as of today, Neros Technologies has a rather modest production rate of 1,500 Archer drones a month (or 18,000 a year), of which 1,000 are supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces on monthly basis, and another 500 are sent to the American military, primarily the Marines and special forces. Neros CEO and co-founder, Soren Monroe-Anderson, said by the end of 2025, the production rate should increase more than sixfold: up to 10,000 drones per month or 120,000 per year. The long-term plan is to build a factory enabling the production of 1 million FPV drones annually. The expected main customer the U.S. Department of Defense, however, the Pentagon has not yet shown any interest in such large orders of FPV drones.Notably, as of today, Neros Technologies is one of the few manufacturers of FPV drones in the United Stated that have complied with the defense department’s ban on using key components from Chinese suppliers, which is most likely why China has imposed sanctions on this company.
