Before Nvidia GTC 2026 even opened its doors in San Jose last week, the internet was already losing its mind over OpenClaw. OpenClaw is an open-source execution engine that transforms AI models like Claude and ChatGPT from conversational tools into autonomous agents capable of sending emails, managing calendars, and triggering workflows across devices and systems. This was the world Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, walked into when he took the stage at the SAP Center. His message was direct. Every company needs an OpenClaw strategy and Nvidia has the infrastructure to make that possible safely. OpenClaw launched on January 25, 2026. Austrian developer Peter Steinberger built the first version, and within weeks it had become one of the fastest-growing open-source repositories in GitHub history, an AI agent capable of organizing files, writing code, and browsing the web without routing data through a cloud.
