Saronic expands team in Australia and UK

Saronic Technologies announced the expansion of its international operations, strengthening its presence in Australia and launching its business in the United Kingdom. This increasing engagement represents the next phase of Saronic’s growth and commitment to delivering autonomous maritime capabilities to allied government and commercial customers. Saronic has enhanced its global presence with the promotion of Matthew Tracey to Vice President of International. In this role, Tracey will oversee the entirety of Saronic’s growing international business. Building on a decade-long career at Palantir in the US, UK, and Australia, Tracey will continue to scale Saronic’s business with government and commercial customers around the world. To support its growing headcount in Australia, Saronic has appointed Rear Admiral Lee Goddard (ret.) as a Strategic Advisor. With more than 30 years of service in the Royal Australian Navy, including critical operational and leadership roles, Goddard brings deep expertise in maritime operations, defence policy, and regional security. He currently holds board Director roles with AUSTAL, the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, and the Australian Missile Corporation. His experience navigating complex defence and wider government ecosystems in driving innovation across public and private sectors will help guide Saronic’s regional engagement, capability development, and alignment with national security priorities. As part of its expansion into the United Kingdom, Saronic has appointed Paul Hollingshead as Manager for the UK and Europe.
