As the U.S. and its allies wage war overseas, back home our computer systems still remain vulnerable to attack. The Department of Homeland Security has brought the nation to a high state of awareness. In addition to our airports, public places and government buildings being potential targets, our computer infrastructure is quite vulnerable. Including: * A new study shows that many state agencies have not adopted measures to prevent cyber attacks, similar to federal agencies. * Hackers from Egypt, Morocco, Kuwait and Indonesia have successfully defaced web sites leaving anti-war, anti-American messages. * Several new e-mail viruses have been linked to the current events.
