The personal data of around 200,000 customers of Georgia healthcare provider Harbin Clinic was stolen in a recent data breach. The attack was on debt collector Nationwide Recovery Services (NRS), which discovered that attackers had infiltrated its network and accessed certain data. A subsidiary debt collecting services provider subsequently notified Harbin Clinic that some stolen data pertained to its patients. Compromised information includes Social Security numbers and financial account details. The company does not believe that identity theft or fraud has occurred as a result of the incident.
