Foxconn Confirms North American Factories Hit by Cyberattack

Foxconn has confirmed that it was the victim of a cyberattack.

Foxconn acknowledged that several of its North American manufacturing sites were disrupted by a cyberattack attributed to the Nitrogen ransomware group. The attackers claim to have stolen 8TB of data, including confidential documents tied to major tech clients such as Apple, Intel, Google, Dell, and Nvidia. Foxconn says it activated its incident‑response mechanisms immediately and that production is returning to normal.
