Interlock group claims cyberattack on Kettering Health.
Interlock claimed responsibility for the ransomware attack on Kettering Health, alleging that it exfiltrated nearly 1TB of data from the healthcare network of more than 120 facilities serving 1.5 million patients in Ohio. On its blog, the group released samples, including financial reports, insurance documents, and personal identification files. Kettering Health has made progress in restoring operations, recently announcing that its Epic electronic health record system is back online and systems are steadily returning to normal.
