Several Salesforce customers have been targeted in a data theft campaign.

A widespread data theft campaign has targeted hundreds of Salesforce customers, including major companies like Google, Adidas, Cisco, and Louis Vuitton. The attacks were attributed to threat actor UNC6040, which often impersonates the ShinyHunters cybercrime gang. Google confirmed that its Salesforce instance was compromised, exposing basic business contact information, however, Salesforce emphasized that its own systems were not breached.
