A new phishing scam features google calendar invites as a new method of stealing information.

Researchers have identified a new type of phishing scam that involves malicious actors using fake google calendar invites. The fake calendar invites are able to evade many of the built in protection systems. They also appear as being sent from generally recognizable brands. Google has recommended that users enable features that only allow know contacts to send invites.
