Princeton University has confirmed that it was the victim of a data breach.

Princeton University confirmed a data breach involving its Advancement database, which stores information on alumni, donors, students, parents, and staff. The compromised data includes names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, and donation details, but no passwords, Social Security numbers, or financial data. The breach occurred after a phone phishing attack on an employee with database access. Princeton emphasized that academic records and TigerNet credentials were not affected.
