Hyundai has disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach.

Hyundai AutoEver America, the IT arm of Hyundai Motor Group, experienced a cyberattack in February 2025 that compromised personal data including names, Social Security numbers, and driver’s license details. The breach was discovered on March 1, and attackers had access to systems for over a week before being removed. No ransomware group has claimed responsibility.
