Cloud-based recruitment software provider Bullhorn temporarily disabled access to major parts of its platform to contain a sudden cyberattack and system-wide outage. The security incident disrupted core services including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM, automation, and back-office tools for thousands of global staffing clients. Working alongside incident response specialists from CrowdStrike, Bullhorn isolated the threat and initiated a forensic investigation to determine whether customer data was exfiltrated. In response to the breach, the company mandated password resets for all non-SSO users and required API password rotations to secure external integrations. While several key services remain degraded or under maintenance, Bullhorn has advised clients to request data exports as IT teams work to safely restore full operations.
