Paradigm Healthcare Services reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that a data breach compromised the records of over 970,000 Medi-Cal members. The company, which manages billing and member identification numbers for California’s Medicaid program, detected unauthorized access to its local network in October 2025. An investigation concluded that files containing names, dates of birth, gender, and Medi-Cal identification numbers were accessed by an unauthorized party. Although notification letters began circulating nearly a year later in September 2026, Paradigm stated it currently has no evidence indicating the stolen information has been misused. The incident adds to a series of major healthcare data disclosures, arriving alongside separate recent breaches reported by Tarter Krinsky & Drogin and Ridgeway Pharmacy.
