Dyfed-Powys Police in Wales confirmed it suffered a cyber-attack that disrupted internal systems and may have resulted in staff information being accessed or compromised. The breach was detected on September 14, causing temporary outages across the force’s online and email services before being publicly disclosed following remediation efforts. Critical 999 and non-emergency 101 telephone lines remained fully operational and isolated throughout the incident. The force stated there is currently no evidence that personal data belonging to members of the general public was accessed.
