Energy and water management technology firm Itron was the victim of a cyber attack.

Itron, a major provider of energy and water management technology serving over 8,000 customers worldwide, detected unauthorized access to some of its systems on April 13. The company reports that operations continued normally and that no further malicious activity has been observed since remediation. There is no evidence that customer‑hosted systems were affected, and no ransomware or extortion group has claimed responsibility.
