Washington Post Says Nearly 10,000 Employees Impacted by Oracle Hack

Washington Post confirms breach affecting nearly 10,000 people.

The Washington Post disclosed that nearly 9,720 employees and contractors had personal data stolen in a cyberattack exploiting Oracle E-Business Suite zero-day vulnerabilities. Hackers linked to the Cl0p ransomware group accessed information between July and August, including names, bank details, Social Security numbers, and tax IDs. About 180 GB of stolen files have been leaked online after the newspaper refused to pay ransom demands. The Post joins GlobalLogic, Harvard University, and Envoy Air in confirming impact from the campaign attributed to FIN11.
