The UAE has accused Iran of launching new attacks against its territory.

The United Arab Emirates said its air defenses were responding to missile and drone attacks that it claimed originated from Iran. Iran’s military command denied launching any such operations and warned it would deliver a “crushing response” if attacked from UAE territory. The incident marked the second consecutive day of reported strikes after several weeks of relative calm following a U.S.-announced ceasefire. The UAE called the attacks a serious escalation and asserted its right to respond, noting that a drone strike the previous evening had also ignited a fire in a major oil zone.
