Nearly 16 million registered Moroccan voters will be voting to elect all 395 seats of the House of Representatives, which will determine the next prime minister and governing coalition. Morocco has recently been hit with massive GenZ protests as well as mass migrations like the one that happened in Spanish enclave of Ceuta. Rising costs, high youth unemployment and dissatisfaction with public schools, healthcare, and wages are some of the issues which will decide Morocco’s political future.
